A place where people are seen, known, and not alone.

The City Well is a community rooted in presence — creating space for people to connect, build relationships, and experience dignity.

💡
What We Do

We don’t start with people, not programs.

We show up consistently, creating space for conversation, connection, and trust.
Over time, relationships grow — and real needs begin to surface.

From there, we respond in simple, tangible ways — always grounded in dignity and care.

💡
How We Show Up

—> We believe that presence matters.

—> That listening matters.

—> That sharing a cup of coffee can open the door to something deeper.

Our work is shaped by compassion, consistency, and a commitment to meet people where they are — without judgment.

💡
Why It Matter

Isolation is real.
So is the quiet erosion of being unseen.

Many people living on the street go months without hearing their own name spoken out loud.
Loneliness and social isolation are among the most common experiences of homelessness — and they carry real mental and physical health impacts.

We believe hope begins to return when people are known.
That’s why we build community — one relationship at a time.

Not through programs alone, but through presence, trust, and care.

Join Us Sundays 10:00am - 12:00 pm

We gather weekly to share coffee, conversation, and community. If you’d like to join us, we’d love to have you.

Whether you want to show up, walk alongside others, or simply be part of something grounded and real — you are welcome.

You will find us on the E Lexington Street side of the War Memorial Plaza in Baltimore. Locals may know it as City Hall Park.

💡
Support the Work

This work is sustained by people who care.

Whether it’s contributing resources, helping provide meals, or supporting the ongoing work — your involvement makes a real difference.

💡
A Different Way of Showing Up

We are inspired by the way of Jesus — showing up with compassion, honoring dignity, and making space for all.

You don’t have to believe what we believe to belong here.
But everything we do is rooted in that posture of love and presence.
